This is an interview conducted at the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show with noted golf course architect Jason Straka of Fry Straka Global Golf Course Design. We discuss how the business of golf course design has gone global, along with his involvement in the design of Erin Hills, site of the 2017 US Open.
Prior to my career teaching golf, I was a member at the Evanston Golf Club for 22 years where I was Greens Chairman and headed the Architect Selection Committee to oversee restoration EGC’s 85-year old Donald Ross design.
