A neutral wrist position occurs when the left wrist is lined up joint neutral to the forearm without any upward or downward cocking present. A joint neutral condition occurs when the bones of the palm are lined up with the radial and ulnar bones of the forearm in all three planes.
Radial wrist deviation occurs when the wrist angle cocks upward toward the radial bone
Ulnar wrist deviation occurs when the wrist angle cocks downward toward the ulnar bone
